OUR MINISTRIES

This group continues to build a tight-knit sisterhood where every woman can find home. From weekly Bible studies to monthly gatherings for food and fun, or from walks on the dam to beach retreats, they enjoy growing together toward becoming the woman God designed them to be.

Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Proverbs 31:30

The Men of The Refuge want to challenge themselves in multiple ways.  Whether mentally, physically, or spiritually, they are all in for growing into true servants of King Jesus.  In this group, men can find strength, encouragement, and grit.  Iron sharpens iron among these guys.

As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. Proverbs 27:17

This is the place where tweens, middle and high-school aged guys and gals are safe to be who they are as they discover that God created them uniquely for a purpose. They learn Biblical principles in a way that is active and relevant to their lives right now. They sky’s the limit on the fun to be had in this group, and deep, meaningful relationships that are built provide the atmosphere in which young men and women can develop a tangible walk with Jesus.

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:2

Our kids are gifts from the Lord, and we treasure them greatly.  We joke around here that our kids almost outnumber our adults - and we LOVE that!  Our committed team of qualified and background-checked teachers bring engaging and fun lessons that introduce children to our wonderful Savior.  His love really shines in our ministry to children and they are a huge blessing to The Refuge!

Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him. Psalm 127:3
